About Me

Name

Kristin Mannikko

Bio

I’ve been self employed for the past 20 years.  I owned a store by the name of Country Manor located in downtown Gilbert for 8 years.  I dove into owning and running a business of my own at a young age and learned A LOT along the way!  It was a great experience overall (even with all the ups and downs) that allowed me to grow in so many ways.

After selling my store, my husband and I started another business, Hayden Lane Drywall.  My husband, Troy, had been in the home building industry for many years and due to the downward spiral in the economy at that time, we were forced to create a new path.  With his knowledge and contacts in the construction world and my experience with running a business, we built our business from the ground up.  We have now been in business for 12 years and happily it has grown exponentially year after year!

Although my days are often consumed with Hayden Lane Drywall, I’ve found myself “dabbling” in the creative world of home design because it is truly where my passion lies.  I’ve participated in pop up vintage markets, was a designer at Old Brick house in Mesa and played many roles part time at Sweet Salvage, including being the creative director, a designer and offering business knowledge when needed.  I’ve also participated in Junk In the Trunk as a supporter and designer with friends in our industry.

My husband and I moved to Arcadia 5 years ago with our 2 boys.  Our boys are now 15 and 18, both at Arcadia High School and teenage life is REAL and in full effect at our house!  Our lives are busy and some times a little complicated as most everyones are but I am super excited to join The Foundress and connect with like minded women, offer support, gain support, learn, grow, and empower one another!
